What movie/TV show/album/whatever would you like to be able to see/hear again for the first time?
The A.V. Club asked its staff and readers this question and got some interesting responses. Me? I wish I could hear In The Aeroplane Over the Sea again for the first time. Every time I listen to it, I immediately remember how I felt on the very first chord of “The King of Carrot Flowers, Pt. 1”. It changed my life, and I say that knowing exactly how cheesy it sounds. Other pop culture things I’d like to experience again for the first time: Haruki Murakami’s Wind Up Bird Chronicle, beating Super Mario Bros. for the first time, The Wire, Arrested Development, Rushmore, and the first time I saw a Transformer turn from a car to a robot.
