If you haven’t read Steve Martin’s autobiography “Born Standing Up” yet, man is it fantastic. It had been on my “to-read” list for a couple of years now. After a string of great but horribly depressing books (seriously, librarything needs to know when to stop recommending certain books), I looked through my list and picked a winner. Even if you weren’t previously a huge fan of Steve Martin, you’ll appreciate his perspective on what it took for him to, for a time, be the funniest man in the world.
