– This report from Physicians for Human Rights pretty much ruined my morning. I hope it ruins yours too. The things our military has been doing in the name of “defending freedom” are shameful.

My new cell number is (415) 601-8990. I look forward to not hearing from you enough and not calling you enough.

– Rock Plaza Central - Are We Not Horses (I just bought this album on eMusic based solely on that description. How can it not be amazing?) Chaffetz defeats Cannon in Republican primary →
I’m excited to see incumbent Utah 3rd District House representative Chris Cannon lose the Republican primary (his extreme right-wing policies freaked me out a little bit), but am terrified that he lost because Utah County decided he wasn’t conservative enough for their tastes.

I pity the foos(ball) →
Brian made a soundtrack for the upcoming Ancestry.com foosball tournement. They are lucky I moved to the SF office, because I would totally have won. For the past year I’ve been lulling them into thinking that I suck, when in fact I am a world-renowned foos hustler.

Time travel back to 1000 A.D.: Survival tips →
nickdouglas: A bunch of people try to figure out how to best survive and make your way in the world if you were suddenly dropped in Europe around A.D. 1000. The most sensible/interesting suggestions: Do anything you can that’s related to sanitation and boiling water. You can invent whiskey, keep alive longer, maybe become a town doctor just by dint of knowing (but not talking about) germ...
